Well today is hopefully the last time I have to officially 'diet'. If all goes well during my weigh in I will have lost a total of 30 pounds. I'll be back to the weight I was 4 years ago.
Its herd to believe that I have gain about 8 pounds a year for four years.
Luckily losing it hasn't been THAT difficult. I have to say the journey has been amazing I've gone from a lazy grad student to a fit and productive person.
I would not say that Weight Watchers is for everyone, but I'm glad I joined. In theory I could have done a reduced calorie diet on my own, but I have to admit that the support of meeting had been great.
The carb diets were tempting but I'm glad I didn't. If you fall of the wagon on those you gain it all back. I feel sorry for those who have fallen into the trap of following, but not following the Atkins diet. Its so easy to do all the carb choice foods, but not really following it. I'm sure many are finding their not losing weight. Trust me when I say, a reduced calorie diet with laot of fuits, vegtables, and whole grains along with regular exercise will not only help you lose weight but make you healthier. No this isn't meant as an advertisment for Weifght Watchers, but seriously if you were thinking about losing weight there are many better food choices to make than eliminating healthy carbs.
